Minor in Biology

If you're a VCU student in a major other than biology, consider pursuing our department's minor.

A minor in biology consists of a minimum of 20 credits in biology. Only courses applicable toward the B.S. in Biology can be applied toward the minor in biology. A minimum GPA of 2.0 is required for all courses applicable to the minor. A minimum of nine upper-level biology credits must be taken at VCU.

Note: BNFO 251/LFSC 251 and BNFO 252/LFSC 252 are approved course substitutes for BIOZ 151 and BIOZ 152, respectively.
