Faculty members engage and enlighten the community, provide students in all disciplines with a solid foundation in the biological sciences, and prepare Biology graduate and undergraduate majors for advanced academic study, admission to health programs. employment in laboratory and field programs, jobs in private industry, positions with government agencies, and teaching in secondary schools.
