Background
Gregory Walsh is a developmental neurobiologist who joined the Department of Biology faculty in August 2011 after a postdoc with Dr. Cecilia Moens at The Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle, Washington. He earned his Ph.D. from McGill University in Montreal, Canada and his M.Sc. from Queen’s University at Kingston, Canada. His research focuses on understanding the molecular and cellular mechanisms that control directed cell movements of neurons during early development.
