Background
Jennifer Stewart received a Ph.D. in physiology from Emory University in 1975. Her research in neuroendocrinology focuses on monoamines in brain and immune cells and on regulation of monoamine transport and storage.
Professor Stewart retired from VCU Biology in January of 2019 and was named Associate Professor Emerita later that year in recognition of her many years of exceptional scholarly and academic service to VCU.
